2023 and 2024: Kentro Christian Network ($7400 Raised in 2023)
Kentro Christian Network is an association of over 50 charities from across Canada that respond to international and local disasters and have grassroots development projects overseas which target the UN Sustainable Development Goals. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2023 will go towards facilitating training and collaboration between charities in order to promote the sharing of information, experience and expertise to maximize efforts to tackle poverty and injustice.
2019: Canadian Christian Relief & Development Association ($6203 Raised)
CCRDA is a network of over 50 charities from across Canada that respond to international and local disasters and have grassroots development projects overseas which target the UN Sustainable Development Goals. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2019 will go towards facilitating training and collaboration between charities in order to promote the sharing of information, experience and expertise to maximize efforts to tackle poverty and injustice.
2018: Wellspring Foundation for Education ($5711 Raised)
Wellspring is uniquely placed to be a catalyst for transforming education for hundreds of thousands of African children and fostering vibrant communities that address poverty in all its forms. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2018 went to provide quality education to the children of post-genocide Rwanda.
2017: Hope Story ($6726 Raised)
Hope Story provides basic life necessities such as clean water, shelter, food and health care to equip children to succeed in their education, spiritual growth, and ultimately to break the cycle of poverty. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2017 went to provide education and support for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon.
2016: Adventist Development Relief Agency ($5850 Raised)
ADRA Canada delivers relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 130 countries by partnering with local communities, organizations, and governments to build local capability for sustainable change. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2016 went to help meet basic humanitarian needs of people affected by the conflict in Syria, including shelter, food, health care and water
2015: Emmanuel Rehabilitation & Relief International Canada ($3706 Raised)
EI Canada is an international organization that assists communities worldwide through the agency of the churches within those communities in order to meet the needs of the poor through programs in the area of Sustainable Development, Relief and Rehabilitation, Education, and Health. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2015 went to build wells and provide access to clean water for families affected by the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
2014: World Vision Canada ($2504 Raised)
World Vision Canada is global relief, development and advocacy organization. They partner with children, families and their communities to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. All proceeds from Callahan for Kids 2014 went to World Vision’s “No Child for Sale” campaign to take action against child slavery, affecting 115 million of the world’s children in degrading, dirty and dangerous jobs.
